Femme Style Society was created from a very real and personal place. After moving to the Triangle, I found myself with a much smaller circle than I was used to. Like most of us at this stage in life, I understand how challenging it can be to make new friends and meet like-minded women.

I founded Femme Style Society to celebrate sisterhood, style, and shared experiences because there’s something powerful about being in a room with women who understand you in a way only other women can. A community where we get dressed up, step out, and forget the stresses of daily life for a while.

Truth be told, I had more clothes than places to go. And I realized I probably wasn’t alone.

Because fashion isn’t just about what we wear — it’s part of the experience. Part of the joy. Part of the confidence.

I wanted to create a safe, welcoming space for mature women who may find it hard to connect or simply want more meaningful friendships. A space rooted in sisterhood and understanding — especially through aging, change, menopause, and new life chapters.

Femme Style Society is about showing up for yourself and each other. It’s about laughing, great company, and feeling seen and understood.
